Light Blues’ afternoon recovery

There were plenty of Light Blues and Dark Blues at Aldeburgh for the annual University Match, but the weather was mostly grey. The golf, however, was excellent, especially on the final day when Cambridge recovered to win 8 -6 after looking a beaten side at lunch.

Unheralded American Vaughn Taylor fired a three-under par 67 at Bay Hill, Florida, overcoming two early bogeys to seize a two-stroke lead after three rounds of the US PGA Arnold Palmer Invitational.
